Artist Statement

 

I have always loved color, symmetry, texture and movement. When I starting working with fabric in 2002, I began as many quilters do - with traditional patterns. That resonated with my love of color and symmetry. Then I began to dance into the world of art quilting where I could add in my love of texture and movement. My work is about sharing a sense of play, beauty and enchantment with life.
